Which length of the 12 axes test to choose
Take 36 if you want a first look. Each axis gets three statements, so a single answer can move a score a long way. It is good for curiosity and bad for settling arguments.
Take 60 if you want a result you can share with some confidence. Each axis gets five statements, enough to smooth out most of the noise of one odd question.
Take 288 if you care about the numbers. Each axis gets twenty-four statements, always the same ones, so you can retake it in a year and see what really moved. It takes about twenty minutes, and it is the version that the full report on how the 12axes test works is meant for.
Answering well
- Answer what you think should happen, not what you expect will happen.
- Neutral means you have no view or the statement does not apply. It leaves the score where it is.
- Do not look for the answer that fits a label. You can read about typical 12 axes results after you finish.
